Baseball season has officially began. We are set for long Saturdays with each of them having a game. We've got a new canopy for the hot weather coming soon. They are both playing really well. This is Cayden's second season in minor league. Since it is the "spring season," they have to have drafts or try outs. He was snatched up really quickly, as far as we heard. His coach he had in the fall didn't get to get him this season. We are on a new team, but it has been just fine. In fact, we played his other team last Saturday and it was great. His friends Tanner and Davis are still on the other team. It was such a fun game! Tanner pitched to him and before he started pitching, Cayden lifted up his batting helmet and stuck his tongue out at Tanner! It was so funny!
Ryan has been playing really well this season. He is on a younger team again, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought. I was thinking he would be his silly self again and not pay attention, but he really has stepped it up! He plays with his friend Tyler and they have fun together. At Ryan's last game, he hit a long ball all the way to the grass behind 1st base! We all went nuts! He ran to 1st, the coach told him to go on to 2nd. When he got there, he thought "Why stop here?" and kept running to 3rd! He had no idea where the ball was! That wasn't important, he thought he hit a home run so he just kept on going! The 3rd base coach had to grab his arm and pull him back to 3rd! It was great! He was on cloud 9 all night!
